Historic Hampton House

Invisible Luggage brought together more than 50 artists to explore what was lost, preserved, and carried with us as we traveled, migrated, and moved through the world.

Drawing on the legacy of the Historic Hampton House — a Green Book hotel during the height of segregation — the exhibition reflected on ideas of journeying, memory, displacement, and freedom.
